About My Journey
In 2006, I had just finished reading Dr. Eric Pearl's book "The Reconnection, Heal Others-Heal Yourself" and was extremely intrigued. Checking out the Reconnection website, I was surprised to discover that a Level I & II training seminar was just about to be held right here in Sedona, in just a couple weeks time, and about 1 mile from my home. Talk about synchronicity!
I felt a compelling and irresistible urge to sign up and learn about this healing energy frequency The experience was, to say the least, mind blowing. I had studied and knew about energy healing but never in my life suspected that I could actually feel it and channel it myself. About midway through the seminar, I experienced a very powerful transformation and a profound personal healing. For several nights afterwards, I lay in bed at night unable to sleep, with this incredible flow of non-stop healing energy just pouring out from the palms of my hands. It felt like high intensity light beams. Thus dawned a new chapter in my life as an energy healer.
I have been on a spiritual journey for many years, have studied much and walked many paths. After practicing meditation (TM) daily since the mid 1970s, having read innumerable books on spirituality, metaphysics, and having looked into most of the mystery branches of religions, I was finally guided to the Truth, and the root essence that underlies every spiritual teaching that has ever been given to Humanity by the Great spiritual Masters that have walked on this Earth: The Perennial Philosophy, Advaita Vedanta, which is also known in the western world as Non-Duality.
Advaita or Non-Duality may be described as the understanding or inner knowing that dualism is an illusory phenomena, and that separation or believing to be a separate individual or person is a misunderstanding. Examples of dualism include self/other, mind/body, male/female, good/evil, active/passive, light/darkness, etc.
Non-Dualism states that, in Reality, everything is One, and We are already "That." and nothing needs to be done to gain "That." All that is needed is to realize our perceptual misunderstanding.
The Advaita teachers who have most inspired me include, in the order that I discovered them: Adyashanti, Nisargadatta Maharaji, Ramana Maharshi, Robert Adams, Stuart Schwartz and Teja Anand.
I have been living in Sedona since 1991, and I consider myself immensely blessed to be living in spectacular and mystical Sedona, together with my lovely bride of 30+ years, Donna.
