About My Journey
Welcome! My name is Giampaolo (JP) Lomeo. I trained at the seminar that was given by Dr. Eric Pearl, the Founder of Reconnective Healing®, in February 2006 in Sedona, AZ. I have been on a spiritual quest for many years, have studied much and have walked many paths. After 40+ years of practicing meditation daily, searching and reading thousands of books on most every religion, metaphysics, and mystery branches of religions, I was finally guided to the Truth, and what I know to be the root and essence underlying every spiritual teaching that has ever been given to Humanity: Advaita Vedanta, which is also known as Non-Dualism.
Advaita may be may be described as the Understanding or Knowing that dualism is an illusory phenomena, and that separation or believing to be a separate person is a misperception. Examples of dualism include self/other, mind/body, male/female, good/evil, active/passive, light/darkness. That in Reality, everything is One, and that We are already That, and nothing needs to be done to gain That. All that is needed is to realize our perceptual misunderstanding. The Advaita teachers who have most inspired me include, in the order that I discovered them: Adyashanti, Nisargadatta Maharaji, Ramana Maharshi, Robert Adams and Stuart Schwartz.
In 2006 I had just read Eric Pearl's book "The Reconnection, Heal Others-Heal Yourself" and was very intrigued. As I checked the website for scheduled seminars, I discovered that a Level I/II training seminar was going to be held here in Sedona, in just a couple weeks time and less than a 1/4 mile from where I lived!
I felt a compelling and irresistible urge to sign up. The seminar experience was, well, to say the least, mind blowing. I had studied and read about energy but never in my life suspected that I could actually feel and channel it myself. About midway through the seminar, I experienced a very powerful shift-transformation and a profound personal healing. For several nights afterwards, I lay in bed at night unable to sleep, with this incredible, non-stop flow of energy just pouring out from the palms of my hands, which felt like high intensity light beams. Thus dawned a new chapter in my life as a healer.
I have also been an AZ licensed Home Inspector for the past 20 years, and I consider myself immensely blessed to be living in spectacular and mystical Sedona, Arizona, together with my lovely bride of 27 years, Donna.
